BIO
Archy Obradovic is an artist living and working on Gadigal land, Eora Nation (Sydney). He holds
a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Master of Fine Art from the National Art School, where he studied
under Nick Collerson and Mason Kimber and presented research at the 2025 NAS
Postgraduate Symposium.
Working primarily with oil, acrylic, and silkscreen on found and translucent fabrics, Obradovic
constructs paintings that fold gesture, structure, and dislocation into layered ecologies of form.
His practice draws on everyday experiences, exploring how fragments of observation and
memory can become symbols of place, temporality, and belonging.
Obradovic’s work has been exhibited in several recent exhibitions, including as a finalist in the
Mosman Art Prize and the Kedumba Drawing Award. His material practice reflects a sustained
interest in process, texture, and the poetics of instability, where painting becomes a field of
transformation, and meaning drifts in and out of focus.
